Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker as well as former worker in the factory Joseph William Stone II. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was considered academically gifted as a child and began second grade at five. Stone graduated from high school with a diploma from Saegertown in Saegertown located in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. A winner of Miss Crawford County, she took part in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone moved in New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to explore a modeling career. She did so after signing with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. In Europe she was able to spend a whole year in Milano and Paris. Stone, however, became dissatisfied with the acting and modeling in Europe. She chose to continue her career as an actress during the time she was in Europe. At 20, she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories" with mixed receptions.
