Dennings was dating Nick Zano from 2011-2014, she was her co-star on "2 Broke Girls". Following their split, Dennings began to date the singer Josh Groban. In 2016, they were still together. Dennings first began to date musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. In May 2021 they declared that their romance had begun. Dennings is a long-time fan of the musician. She has followed him since 2014. Dennings admits that although she was born Jewish and grew to be part within the Jewish community at a social as well as a religious level, it doesn't play a significant part in her everyday activities. Gardening, painting, and reading are some of her interests. She had planned to attend art school in the past but the plan was destroyed by a flood that damaged her portfolio.
